Our story

Hoisington is known as the “heart of the Cheyenne Bottoms.” Park View Inn & Suites in Hoisington is the only hotel on the Wetlands and Wildlife National Scenic Byway that connects the Cheyenne Bottoms Wildlife Area and the Quivira National Wildlife Refuge. Both are great places to view migratory birds like whooping cranes, shorebirds, bald eagles, ducks and geese. You’ll also find art murals, brick side streets and WPA projects like the sundial on the Hoisington City Building and the mural inside the Hoisington Post Office. The hotel is centrally located for exploring historic forts like Fort Hays, Fort Larned and Fort Harker at Kanopolis.
